NaturalHitting.com Elite Hitters have a natural swing, now you an too. No theories: Just common Sense for your natural body movement in the swing.
Hitting like the elite Major League hitters takes making hard contact consistantly.  Here you will find out what it takes.

Where does Rotational Power comes from?

           Stance position                      to                   Contact position

How do Alex Rodriguez above and all ML hitters create movement to go from one position to the other? How do they generate and transfer power to the baseball? How do they create rotation of the body? How do they create bat speed?  See Alex has rotated or turned his body 90°.  How?

The Biggest question of them all.  How do they do it?

Before we can answer that question you need to understand their goal.  Their goal is to hit the ball with as much Force as they can.  That translates to hitting the ball as hard as they can. So what is Force?  Is force from rotational hitting, or linear hitting, or both?

                          Learning about Power start Now!

How one gets to the contact point determines how much force one can apply to the baseball.  It takes force applied to the ball in order to change its direction and make it travel.  Batspeed alone will not give the force you are searching for. You can have great batspeed that produces very little power.  We have done the research. In order to hit a baseball as hard as you can takes one thing, Force. So the more force that is applied to the ball the harder, faster, and distance traveled will be the result of that force. Here is how force is derived.

Force = Mass  x  Acceleration Isaac Newton’s Law

  • Force is when one object (the "source object") exerts on another object.            (bat to ball)
  • Mass is the amount of matter in an object. But in baseball we discuss  weight.(which is incorrect) Hitting is about moving the largest Mass, the Torso.
  • Acceleration is defined as the rate at which velocity changes with respect to time. (0 to 60mph)

What does this mean for hitting with power?  It's really important to understand where the force comes from.  The more mass of the body that we can accelerate, the more force we will generate

When some people look at their human body and are asked to break it up into parts they generally say that their body has a head, two arms, torso, and two legs.  Ask them what the biggest part is and the answer is, the torso.

So, what parts are generally talked about in hitting?  Head, arms, shoulders, legs and hips.  Very, very rarely does anyone ever mention Torso. But some might say core with no explanation of the core or what it is.

Here is the mass of the body broken down.

Both legs        =    20%   mass

Both arms       =    12%  mass

The head         =     8%   mass

Torso              =   60%   mass

Total mass       = 100%   mass

Which part would you like to use to cause force? Your legs and arms? Well that’s what is being taught by the guru's.  A new world of understanding the swing with the Torso is about to come to light and you will see athleticism, and how it occurs.

Let us investigate the body even more in-depth so we can have a real understanding of Force.
